Charities

The Colorado Knights of Columbus Charities Fund, Inc. is a non-profit corporation designed to serve various charitable needs within the State of Colorado.  Proceeds from the sale of each Knights to Christ book and e-book go directly to this fund.

Some of these projects include:

Developmentally Disabled Annual Campaign

Each year, the Colorado State Council of the Knights of Columbus sponsors a campaign to raise funds for the mentally challenged, handicapped, or retarded citizens of Colorado.  All of the proceeds raised are distributed by local and state Knights of Columbus representatives to aid and support the mentally handicapped.

Pennies from Heaven

The Pennies from Heaven Program is created for the purpose of generating funds to aid the poor and military personnel in need.

Perpetual Memorial Society

The Perpetual Memorial Society exists for the prayer intentions for members of the society.  This society exists to raise funds to ensure at least 100 Masses are said each year for members of the society, and to subsidize the cost of having each member’s name commemorated on a Perpetual Memorial Plaque.  This Society generally remembers the dearly departed members of the Knights of Columbus, their spouses, and families.

Colorado Diocesan Capital Restoration Fund

This fund exists to receive and disburse money to be used for the restoration of Catholic properties within the State of Colorado.  Each restoration funding program exists at the request and approval of the Bishop of that Diocese and requires specific guidelines for accounting , use, and release of these funds.

Football Frenzy

Each year, the Charity Fund sponsors a football sweepstakes fundraiser.  Tickets are sold and proceeds raised go toward subsidizing the cost of the Colorado State Knights of Columbus Convention.
